7@9 Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm, ARRQ : Where is the NFB going? Members meeting

imagesWhere is the NFB going?

Many changes recently took place at the executive level of the NFB, as well as within the French and English production programs. This, in combination with the ever-growing place of new technologies to the seeming detriment of traditional documentary formats, has raised many questions and concerns among our members about the role of documentary at the NFB

To take stock of the documentary community’s concerns vis-à-vis the NFB’s evolution, a meeting has been scheduled between DOC and the NFB at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto.

In the lead-up to this meeting, we would like to gather your opinions, comments and thoughts as members of DOC-Quebec.  We therefore invite you to a meeting on

Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm
ARRQ/Association de réalisateurs et  réalisatrices du Québec
5154 rue St-Hubert, Métro Laurier (Exit Laurier)

If you cannot make it, or if you prefer to send your thoughts in advance, you can send a short memo by email to info@docquebec.ca with Where is the NFB going? in the subject header.

Considering the stakes involved, your participation at this meeting is important and appreciated, as we want the voice of the documentary community to be heard loud and clear. Thanks for your involvement!
